Normally snowdrops are a good thing but not the sort that bury already growing and flowering bulbs twice in the weeks leading up to our show!! Thankfully the poor weather improved and the day itself fine but with such a slow start to Spring we wondered if there would be any exhibits at all!

As usual our members didn't disappoint with some really good exhibits, although most people's white daffodils and tulips were saving themselves for garden displays. Some really good hyacinths added a heady fragrance to the hall and again the two cookery classes were well supported.

Meanwhile our children showed off some lovely pots of growing bulbs and decorated eggs.

A lot of people took the opportunity to look round the hall after judging was completed and enjoyed some really excellent homemade cakes.
